Capacity responsibilities: Interface with cross-functional organizations (Supply Chain Buyers, Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), Finance, Cost Estimation, Global Vendor Tooling (GVT), Program Management, Engineering, etc.) and Supplier(s) in order to deliver capacity uplifts and mix changes in accordance with ongoing business needs. Responsibilities will include but not limited to, vetting Supplier Capacity responses, CPAT disposition and material preparation, tracking files updates, supplier kick off and interim containment actions follow up, etc. The Capacity Studies PM will assure that the suppliers assigned for vetting will be supportable to the study implementation date until closure.

  • Program Manager for Capacity Studies for FNA programs

    • Work with Capacity planning to plan GCP/MCPV studies to support powertrain and vehicle uplifts and mix rate changes.

    • Coordinate & Lead vetting meetings with the cross functional team to confirm funding requests from supply base (including sub-tiers) ensuring supportability by study implementation

    • Consolidate funding response, prepare vetting funding request materials, update and report their assigned supplier Capacity Study status

    • Gain Disposition of funding requests with the CPAT team

    • Ensure supplier Kick off and interim containment actions (ICAs) for study supportability, while assuring that all the established Supply Chain Procedures are followed

  • Recent experience in Production Buying environment, STA, or Manufacturing (specific knowledge like current Production Supply chain sourcing, detailed Cost Analysis, program management milestones, Manufacturing basics, FMEA and Lean Learning or Waste Elimination Tools knowledge, etc.)

  • Demonstrated project management skills: Planning and organizing to meet the study implementation date

  • Professionally manage supplier relations, and cross functional team interactions, demonstrated effective cross-functional communication (being able to establish facts through data) and leadership skills 

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel, Power Point skill set and fluent English (able to express the desired ideas, facts and concepts through written and spoken communication)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance needed. Ready for Anything (Embrace adaptability and resiliency)
