In this position...
As a Zone Manager (Sales or Ownership), you will serve as a crucial liaison between Ford’s corporate vision and the success of our independent dealerships. You aren't just a representative; you are a strategic advisor and business partner to Dealer Principals and their leadership teams.
Depending on your specific assignment within this pipeline, you will focus on either the "Front End" (Sales) of the business—driving vehicle market share and brand growth—or the "Back End" (Ownership)—optimizing service operations and the long-term vehicle ownership experience.
This position is hybrid (onsite 4 days a week in regional office or dealership) in Orlando Region
What you’ll do...
Strategic Dealer Consultation:
- Serve as a trusted corporate advisor to a dedicated portfolio of dealers, providing insights and best practices to optimize business operations, financial management, and program compliance.
- Develop strong consultative relationships to address dealer-specific challenges and implement effective, data-driven solutions.
Customer Experience & Loyalty:
- Analyze and improve Sales or Service Net Promoter Scores (NPS) to ensure an industry-leading customer journey.
- Implement corporate initiatives that enhance dealer profitability while fostering long-term brand loyalty.
Data-Driven Leadership:
- Use advanced analytics to assess performance against company benchmarks, identify market trends, and help dealers develop actionable business growth plans.
- Work closely with internal departments (Marketing, Finance, Ford Credit, and Ford Customer Service) to provide comprehensive support to the Dealer Network.
Market Performance & Growth (Sales Zone Manager):
- Deliver monthly regional wholesale and Market Area Performance (MAP) sales targets, market share, and focus audience objectives.
- Guide dealers through the Ford Commitment Program, Ford Blue Advantage (CPO), and Electric Vehicle (EV) compliance and infrastructure requirements.
- Execute Regional Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and align Tier 1-3 marketing efforts to drive retail traffic.
Service Operations & Productivity (Ownership Zone Manager):
- Lead the launch and sustainment of "Remote Experience" programs, including Mobile Service and Pickup & Delivery.
- Consult on service shop productivity, Service Lane Selling, and digital tool integration (e.g., Ford Service Reservation+) to drive Customer Pay RO growth.
- Collaborate with dealers to reduce Warranty RO duration and accelerate Vehicle Off Road (VOR) resolutions.
What you’ll have...
- Bachelor’s degree required (Preferred in Business, Marketing, Management, Economics, Finance, or Communications).
- 2+ years of relevant professional sales experience.
- Willingness to collaborate with team members, weekly, in person at the regional office.
- Ability to travel multiple days a week, including long drives, potential overnight stays, and air travel.
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
- Willingness to relocate nationally for current and future company needs.
Even better, you’ll have...
- A genuine passion for the automotive industry and the future of mobility.
- A creative, problem-solving mindset with the ability to bring diverse perspectives to a team.
