As an Inventory & Network Planning Analyst, you will be a key driver of operational excellence across our Canadian Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) network. Reporting to the Network Planning Manager, you will balance high-level inventory strategy with hands-on operational support. Your core focus is to leverage data-driven insights to optimize inventory levels, streamline distribution processes, and ensure our customers receive world-class service. What you'll do...

The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and analyze inventory trends to identify optimization opportunities that ensure the right parts are available at the right time across the Canadian network.
  • Apply advanced SAP/EWM knowledge to support daily operations and lead network-wide process improvements.
  • Manage critical operational workflows including Vehicle Off-Road (VOR) support, Logistics Routing, and Customer Service troubleshooting.
  • Spearhead projects focused on reducing Denial and Error Rates to enhance overall network efficiency and quality.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by leading 5S lean initiatives and monthly waste elimination projects.
  • Partner with operations teams to execute annual count programs, including cycle counts and rack-to-bin "MLs," while managing the Difference Analyzer and inventory adjustments.
  • Optimize warehouse space and efficiency through the application of slotting and sizing methodologies, scrap programs, and depot-to-depot transfers.
  • Oversee the weekly payroll processing and adjustments for all Canadian PDC sites with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with salaried team at all levels of the organization and UNIFOR partners to standardize best-in-class processes and manage slotting deviations across North America.
  • Lead special programs and document monthly inventory meetings to ensure alignment with network-wide goals.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

  • A self-motivated, "team-first" mindset with a fierce dedication to process adherence and continuous improvement.

  • The ability to interpret complex data, identify emerging trends, and translate them into actionable recommendations.

  • Strong organizational skills to independently prioritize tasks and manage multiple high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • A customer-first mentality and a genuine passion for driving excellence within distribution operations.

Even better, you may have...

  • More than 3 years of experience in a PDC or warehouse environment with deep proficiency in SAP/EWM systems.

  • Previous experience working within a unionized environment and a working knowledge of Collective Agreements.

  • A strong background in structured problem-solving using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, 8D, 5-Why, or 6-Panel.

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams or complex, network-wide operational projects.

  • A track record of consistently applying Ford-expected behaviors to drive business results.

The expected annual salary range for this Ford of Canada position is $ 85,000.00 - $135,000.00 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.
